Places that Accommodate Those with Alpha-Gal
- Panera (Bread Co) (Arnold and Farmington MO) – Panera is aware of 19 people in Arnold that have this allergy and the Farmington Panera is aware of 20! Very accommodating!
- Pasta House (Arnold) – I discussed my condition with them and they keep my food separate to avoid cross contamination.
- First Watch (Des Peres, MO) – They know me as the woman that got bit by the tick. My food does take longer to get but it is worth it!
- Frankie Gs (Imperial, MO) They try their best (some cross contamination involving cheese)
- Raising Cane – All Chicken! (can have issues involving mayo and sauces)
- Chick Fil A – All Chicken! (there can be issues involving mayo and sauces)
- Highway 61 Roadhouse (St. Louis, MO) – New Orleans inspired. They bent over backwards to accommodate me. Just let them know!
- Lulus Local Eatery – (St. Louis, MO) Completely vegan and gluten free
- Olive Garden – They were very accommodating! I had the shrimp appetizer and was able to control the cheese issue with having no cheese on the salad!
Restaurants that DO NOT Accommodate
- Ruby Tuesdays (Festus, MO) – No understanding whatsoever. I was sick for 4 days because beef was exposed to my chicken.
- KFC – They are unable to accommodate due to their use of ingredients that may contain gelatin.
- McDonalds/Burger King/Taco Bell- Very popular fast food places but unfortunately they do not accommodate those with Alpha-Gal. Cross contamination is common.
